Save Mart partners with Forage and Flashfood to Enable EBT
San Francisco, CA (March 26th, 2024) — The digital food waste company’s app is currently available at 44 Lucky banner stores in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and will soon expand to The Save Mart Companies’ entire footprint, which consists of 194 Save Mart, Lucky and FoodMaxx banner stores across California and Nevada.
The partnership allows the grocery company’s customers to select their desired store to pick up their order, choose available discounted items and pay for them through the Flashfood app. EBT payment capabilities are also built into the app for California customers, and Flashfood noted that it plans to add SNAP and EBT as a payment option in all of its retail partners by the end of 2024 in partnership with payments company Forage.
